THE PROCESS
The bathtub refinishing process involves preparing the bathtub surface, masking off the surroundings and setting up an exhaust system to expel the smell of the paint out of the bathroom. There are a few ways to prepare the tub, our refinisher will etch a bathtub surface using a gloss remover and pit the surface so an epoxy primer would have something to embed itself into. This is done in order to create a sufficient bond to the bathtub prior to applying the new glossy finish. We also use a more modern approach where it is not necessary to etch the tub prior to reglazing it. This new process involves cleaning the surface with a heavy duty cleaner, applying an adhesive material which will create a molecular bond between the bathtub surface for the new finish to be applied. When done properly, both bathtub refinishing methods work well.
THE COST
Bathtub reglazing is a fast and easy way to experience bathroom remodeling at a fraction of the cost of replacement. There is no reason to remove your bathtub, tiles or sink to remodel your bathroom.

FADED COLORS
We carry a wide selection of colors, including American Standard and Kohler, to update your bathroom fixtures. We can also match the reglazing to any color that you desire.
CHIPS AND SCRATCHES
Before we refinish any bathtub or shower, we thoroughly inspect all surfaces for chips and scratches. Even scratched surfaces, dulled by years of cleaning with abrasive cleaners, will appear like new.
SAVE TIME
After years of use, the surfaces of your tub or shower can become pitted and lose their smooth finish. This creates tiny areas where dirt and soap scum collect, dulling the finish even more and making it difficult to keep clean. The reglazing process restores your tub or shower to its original finish, greatly reducing the time and effort to keep them clean.
SAVE MONEY
Don’t let the poor condition of your bathroom fixtures reflect negatively on the value of your home or when you are trying to rent it out. Reglazing your bathtub can refresh the look of your bathroom or shower without the hassle and expenses of a complete remodel. A newly refinished bathroom can greatly affect the selling price of a home with only a minimal investment.
