Protecting you against COVID-19
ALL INFORMATION BELOW AS INFORMED BY THE CDC OFFICIAL GUIDELINES
There is much to learn about the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Based on what is currently known about COVID-19, spread from person-to-person of this virus happens most frequently among close contacts (within about 6 feet). This type of transmission occurs via respiratory droplets. Current evidence suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.
Cleaning VS Disinfecting
Cleaning: Refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. It does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection.
Disinfecting: Refers to using chemicals, for example, EPA-registered disinfectants, to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
Able Refinishing is helping you take the right steps towards protecting your home, business and family. Our disinfecting service is ideal for:
Health and Wellness
Able Refinishing applies disinfectant solutions by wet fogging methods, including Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) Fogging, Airless Sprayer, and other cordless applicators.
The fogging procedures will focus on high touch point areas agreed upon.
The Shockwave application requires a minimum of 10 minutes of dwell time, as specified by the manufacturer’s recommendation. Shockwave has been tested to kill Coronavirus at a rate of 99.99% effectively.
This service is an application of a disinfectant only and does not include pre-cleaning, post-cleaning, or wiping of individual surfaces.
Able Refinishing does not provide maid or janitorial services.
Able Refinishing will not be held liable for any residue, staining, or secondary damage that may be the result of applying the disinfectant per manufacture’s specifications.
This procedure will treat surfaces at the time of application but will in no way prevent re-contamination.
The area must be vacated during any of these wet fogging applications. Able Refinishing personnel will be in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the application process.
